Abalimba hopeful for Derby deal

Medi Abalimba has spent the last week training with Derby County FC. The Derby coaching staff were very happy with the way he conducted himself throughout the week and his ability on the field.
Derby are now locked in talks with Southend United to finalise a deal taking Medi to Pride Park.
“I have loved my time here and I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that the two clubs can come to some agreement," said Abalimba. "I just want to play football and be in the best environment for my career. I believe coming here will help me develop into the player I know I have the potential to become."
